Requirements

To qualify for listing paid products on the AWS Marketplace you must meet the following requirements

  • Your business entity must be organized or incorporated in one of the eligible jurisdictionarrow-up-right (visit link for details):

    • United States (US), Australia, Bahrain, Colombia, European Union (EU) member state, Hong Kong SAR, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Qatar, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates (UAE), United Kingdom (UK)

  • You must provide tax and bank account information:

    • For US-based entities, a W-9 form and a banking account from a US-based bank are required. You must associate your bank account information with a disbursement preferencearrow-up-right to create any public or private offers.

    • Non-US sellers are required to provide a (i) W-8 form, value-added tax (VAT) or goods and services tax (GST) registration number, and (ii) bank account with a SWIFT code in an eligible jurisdiction. If necessary, you can register for a virtual US bank account from Hyperwalletarrow-up-right.

  • To sell products to customers whose AWS accounts are based in countries and territories in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) (excluding Turkey and South Africa) through Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, you must complete the Know Your Customer processarrow-up-right. In addition:

    • You receive up to two disbursements (for transactions through AWS Inc. and Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL).

    • You may be taxed on the listing fee for certain transactions, depending on location. For more information about taxes, see the AWS Marketplace Sellers Taxarrow-up-right help page. If value-added tax (VAT) on your listing fee is assessed, AWS Marketplace will provide a tax-compliant invoice.

  • To provide data products, you must also request on-boarding through the Create casearrow-up-right wizard for AWS Support.

Here is a list of the information needed ahead of the next step:

  • A new AWS account - If you can create a new AWS account in your organization with console access and admin rights, then we use that for AWS Marketplace

  • Public company profile:

    • Logo (300px wide X 150px high) , PNG on transparent background (max 500 kb)

    • Display name (40 chars)

    • Company description (600 chars)

  • Seller specific information:

    • Payment Information (Tax & Banking)

      • Tax : US EIN , legal name and address as it is in your tax documents

    • Banking Information : Routing Number, Account Number, Address, Owner

    • Product Logo: PNG and in a publicly accessible in a public S3 bucket

    • Product EULA (TXT or PDF) ; accessible in a public S3 bucket
